Guided Walks
The Friends of Bold Park Bushland volunteer guides lead several free guided walks throughout the year, sharing their nature knowledge and introducing everyone to the wonders of Bold Park
Free Guided Walks
Each month our guides will focus on a special theme that is relevant to that time of year, as well as general information about the bushland, plants, and animals. There is no need to register, just come along to the starting point and meet our guides there! Dates and start locations change each month, so check our events page to see details of what walks we have coming up soon.
Special Guided Walks
A couple of times a year we run special guided walks, such as nocturnal tours of the park. These have limited capacity, so tickets must be purchased beforehand. These special walks are always popular and often sell out! To receive notifications of when one of these walks is coming up, follow us on Humanitix or, better yet, become a member! Members will not only be emailed when special walks are coming up, you will often receive a discount on tickets.
Walks on Request
Looking to hold a social bushwalk for your workplace or community group? We can organise a walk just for you, choosing a route that suits your needs and focusing on a topic of your interest (or just a general nature walk). For these specialised walks we charge $5 per person, with a minimum cost of $50 per group. This fee goes to the Friends and will help support the conservation work that we do in Bold Park. Bookings are dependent on the availability of our guides, so please contact us to discuss your groups needs, including preferred dates and time.
