Bold Park Volunteer Information Morning
Are you interested in nature and enjoy spending time outdoors? Would you like to give back to the community while helping protect one of Perth’s most precious bushland reserves? The Friends of Bold Park Bushland invite you to become a volunteer and make a real difference.
The Friends of Bold Park Bushland is a volunteer-run community group working in partnership with the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority to protect and restore the environmental values of Bold Park. The group has recently completed a Strategic Plan setting out an ambitious vision to further enhance the bushland, support native wildlife, and connect more people with this special place — and we are now seeking volunteers to help bring that vision to life.
A range of volunteering opportunities are available to suit different interests and levels of experience. You could become a bushland guide, join the bushcare group, contribute to the committee, or assist with a variety of projects focused on protecting and enhancing Bold Park. No prior experience is required — just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Information sessions will be held on Thursday 26 March at 6.30pm and Saturday 28 March at 10.00am, where you can learn more, ask questions, and find out how you can get involved (the sessions will be the same, so you only need to attend one or the other).
