Sunrise Mindfulness Walk
Start Your Day with Sunrise and Stillness in Bold Park
Watching the sun rise over Bold Park is one of the most beautiful ways to begin the day. The Friends of Bold Park Bushland are inviting the community to take part in a special trial mindfulness walk and would love your feedback.
The walk will begin at 6:45am from the Tuart Carpark. As the first light of day spreads across the sky, participants will wander through the bushland towards Reabold Hill, taking time to notice the sounds, scents and subtle stirrings of the waking landscape.
At the summit, walkers will pause to watch the sun rise over the Perth hills before moving to a quieter lookout for a 15-minute guided meditation led by a qualified instructor. The experience concludes with a gentle walk back down, leaving participants feeling calm, centred and ready to embrace the weekend.
Please bring a cushion or yoga mat, along with warm clothing and wear shoes suitable for walking.
Bookings are not required, just find our guides at the meeting point, but please let us know if you are bringing a group of 10 or more people. Please note that there are no toilets in Bold Park, with the nearest facilities at Perry Lakes Reserve. Our walks go ahead in most weather conditions, but may be cancelled if a severe weather warning is in place.
